Supplementing vitamin D is associated with a wide range of benefits, including increased cognition, immune health, bone health and well-being. Vitamin D3 is naturally produced by the body when exposed to direct sunlight, however actual UV ray exposure and Vitamin D synthesis are dependent on many factors (e.g.seasons, location, time, age, smog, skin darkness). Vitamin D occurs naturally in foods as Vitamin D2 (Ergocalciferol) and Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), but it can also be provided inthe form of supplements. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and muscles, and also to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth, and to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus*.
Use this product in conjunction with food as part of ahealthy, balanced diet, not as a substitute for such.
The amount of vitamin D3 is 2500 IU.
